MOBILE — Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced this morning (Friday, May 12) that Mark Sealy is his choice for fire chief after a recommendation from the search committee, which recently interviewed five finalists for the position.
Sealy still has to be confirmed by the Mobile City Council, which will likely happen at it’s next meeting (Tuesday, May 16).
Sealy has served with the Mobile Fire Department for more than 25 years and is currently the District Chief of Training.
