Sealed Bids for the construction of the Turnerville Celeste Road 12” Water Main will be received by Turnerville Water and Fire Protection District on or before 1:00 PM CDT, February 9, 2026 at the office of Turnerville Water and Fire Protection District, 11230 Celeste Road, Saraland, AL 36571 at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read.
The Project consists of the following major components:
Furnish and intall approximately 11,700 LF of 12” PVC water main and associated valves, fittings, and fire hydrant assemblies.
Contract Documents may be obtained from Ardurra, 200 Clinton Avenue West, Suite 704, Huntsville, AL 35801, upon payment of $200.00 for each set. All deposits are non-refundable. Notice to Contractors Federal Aid

MOBILE COUNTY, ALABAMA
Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Transportation at the office of the Alabama Department of Transportation, Montgomery, Alabama until 10:00 AM on January 30, 2026 and at that time publicly opened for constructing the Safety Widening, Planning, Resurfacing, and Traffic Stripe on the SR-193 Service Roads from Rabbit Creek to the I-10 Interchange northeast of Theodore. Length 1.929 mi.
The total amount of uncompleted work under contract to a contractor must not exceed the amount of his or her qualification certificate.
The Entire Project Shall Be Completed In Thirty-five (35) Working Days.
A Bidding Proposal may be purchased for $5.00. Plans may be purchased for $8.00 per set. Plans and Proposals are available at the Alabama Department of Transportation, 1409 Coliseum Boulevard, Room E-108, Montgomery, AL 36110. Checks should be made payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation. Plans and Proposals will be mailed only upon receipt of remittance. No refunds will be made.
Minimum wage rates for this project have been pre-determined by the Secretary of Labor and are set forth in the advertised specifications. This project is subject to the contract work hours and Safety Standards Act and its implementing regulations.
Cashier’s check or bid bond for 5% of bid (maximum – $50,000.00) made payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith.
The bracket range is shown only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This Bracket should not be used in preparing a bid, nor will this bracket have any bearing on the decision to award this contract.
The Bracket Estimate On This Project Is From $788,366 To $963,559 .
The proposed work shall be performed in conformity with the rules and regulations for carrying out the Federal Highway Act.
Plans and Specifications are on file in Room E-108 of the Alabama Department of Transportation at Montgomery, Alabama 36110.
In accordance with the rules and regulations of The Alabama Department of Transportation, proposals will be issued only to prequalified contractors or their authorized representatives, upon requests that are received before 10 AM., on the day previous to the day of opening of bids.
The bidder’s proposal must be submitted on the complete original proposal furnished him or her by the Alabama Department of Transportation.

INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of School Commissioners of Mobile County, until 2:00 P.M., legally prevailing time, on February 10, 2026 for the Grand Bay Middle School Chiller Replacement at the Mobile County Public School System Facilities Office, Building F, 1 Magnum Pass, Mobile, AL 36618, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to Board of School Commissioners of Mobile County in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder’s proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.
Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the office of the Architect, Ward Scott Morris Architecture, Inc., 1606 Paul Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and at TuscaBlue, 2806 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Hard copy bid documents may be obtained from TuscaBlue via www.ward-scottplans.com, upon deposit of $150.00 per set, which will be refunded in full on the first two sets issued to each trade contract bidder submitting a bona fide bid, upon return of documents in good condition within ten days of bid date. Other sets for contractors, and sets for dealers, may be obtained with the same deposit, which will be refunded as above, less cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution. Bid bonds are to be issued by an acceptable bonding company licensed to do business in the State, with a Power of Attorney, to confess judgment thereon, with the understanding that it shall guarantee that the bidder shall not withdraw his bid for the guarantee period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids; that if his bid is accepted, he will enter into a formal contract with the Owner, and that in the event of a withdrawal of said bid within said period, or the failure to enter into said contract within the time specified, the bidder shall be liable to the Owner for the full amount of the bid guarantee as liquidated damages and not as a forfeit or as a penalty. The bid bond and certified checks on unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon awarding the contract or rejection of all bids, in no event, later than the number of days in the guarantee period from the opening of proposals. That of the successful bidder will be returned when formal contract and bonds are accepted and approved.
Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
All Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held at the Mobile County Public School System Facilities Office, Building F, 1 Magnum Pass, Mobile, AL 36618 at 10:00 A.M. on February 2, 2026. The bidder’s company employee attending the pre-bid conference shall have qualifications and experience with the construction to be performed within this project. Any questions concerning the pre-bid conference shall be directed to the Architect.
Nonresident bidders must accompany any written bid documents with a written opinion of an attorney at law licensed to practice law in such nonresident bidder’s state of domicile, as to the preferences, if any or none, granted by the law of that state to its own business entities whose principal places of business are in that state in the letting of any or all public contracts.

Bidders for this project are notified that they are required to purchase American-made equipment and products with the funding provided under the DWSRF program in accordance with the provisions included in the bid documents. Any AMI Equipment or systems proposed for use other than that specified herein must be submitted for review and approval by the Owner as prescribed. Submittal for alternate equipment must be made by January_15,2026.
Plans and specifications may be inspected and obtained at the office of Speaks & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc., 732 Oak Circle Drive West, Mobile, Alabama 36609. A deposit of $125.00 payable to Speaks & Associates, along with a completed Request for Bid Documents form (which may be obtained by emailing brendah@speaks.cc and requesting it), is required for each set of plans and specifications. The deposit will not be refunded. Bidders are responsible for shipping costs. No plans and specifications will be issued to contractors later than 72 hours prior to receiving bids.
The bidder must provide their name, address, and other information required by the Project Engineer on the Request for Bid Documents form in order to obtain a numbered set of Contract Documents, which will be assigned to that bidder. The Contract Documents are for that bidder’s exclusive use and a bid submitted by any other bidder using a numbered set that has not been assigned to them is automatically disqualified. This provision will not be waived.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to verify with the Project Engineer no later than 72 hours prior to the bid time and date that they have received all addenda and other supplemental information issued by the Engineer during the bid period for use in preparing the bid.
A bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to South Alabama Utilities must accompany each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days following the bid opening unless approved by the Owner.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope on forms provided in the specifications and shall be clearly marked bid for: SAU Bid 25-07 AMI Metering System. The entire bid book must be submitted in the bid package, along with the experience documentation, resumes, design sketches, and other items called for by the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding.
Contractors bidding on this project must hold a current license from the State Licensing Board of General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama.

Default having been made of the terms of the loan documents secured by that certain mortgage executed by Patricia A Chambers to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as mortgagee, as nominee for Homecoming Financial Network, Inc., its successors and assigns dated July 25, 2002; said mortgage being recorded on July 31, 2002 in Deed Book 5198, Page 0049 in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Mobile County, Alabama. Said Mortgage was last sold, assigned and transferred to Citigroup Mortgage Loan Trust 2021-RP6. by assignment recorded as Instrument No. 2022010192 in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Mobile County, Alabama.
The undersigned, Citigroup Mortgage Loan Trust 2021-RP6, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the main entrance of the Court House in Mobile County, Alabama during the legal hours of sale (between 11am and 4pm), on January 29, 2026 the following property, situated in Mobile County, Alabama, to-wit:
Lots 73 and 74 of Block 1 in the Second Addition to St. Stephens Highlands according to the plat thereof recorded in Map Book 4, Page 93 of the records in the Office of the Judge of Probate, Mobile County, Alabama.
Said property is commonly known as 1913 Muriel Ave, Prichard, AL 36610.
Should a conflict arise between the property address and the legal description, the legal description will control.
Said property will be sold subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes (including taxes which are a lien, but not yet due and payable), the right of redemption of any taxing authority, all outstanding liens for public utilities which constitute liens upon the property, any matters which might be disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection of the property, any assessments, liens, encumbrances, easements, rights-of-way, zoning ordinances, restrictions, special assessments, covenants, the statutory right of redemption pursuant to Alabama law, and any matters of record including, but not limited to, those superior to said Mortgage first set out above.
