Alabama State Troopers are searching for information that might lead to the identification of the person or persons responsible for a deadly hit-and-run accident in north Mobile County on Tuesday night.
Robert M. Estes, 32, of Saraland was found dead on the side of Boothtown Road after being struck by a vehicle at approximately 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Oak Lane. Estes was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
The vehicle involved in the crash left the scene and its make, model and driver are unknown. Anyone with information on the vehicle and/or driver is asked to contact the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency at (251) 660-2300.
