Vigor, Williamson playoff games moved back to Friday

Baker’s, Vigor’s and Williamson’s home games in the first round of the playoffs will be played Friday at 7 p.m. as originally scheduled after their opponents didn’t agree to a switch to Thursday.

Earlier Tuesday, all home games involving Mobile County Public School teams were moved up to Thursday at 7 p.m. to avoid possible inclement weather from Hurricane Rafael on Friday.

But Hewitt-Trussville at Baker, Sipsey Valley at Vigor and Northside at Williamson at Ladd-Peebles Stadium were moved back to Friday at 7 p.m.

The Vestavia Hills at MGM and Chelsea at Saraland games will be played Thursday at 7 p.m.

The latest forecast calls for a 40% chance of rain Friday.
