This bid will be for schools 61 through 82. The bidders will bid the schools in sets of 11. If a bidder wishes to bid all schools, they may do so as long as they submit 2 separate bids.

INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Chickasaw at 224 N. Craft Highway, Chickasaw, Alabama 36671, until 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 7th 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Work is generally described as follows: the resurfacing of Grant Street, Short Street, and Ryan Street (approximately 0.83 miles).
All bids must be on file with the City of Chickasaw, 224 N. Craft Highway, Chickasaw, Alabama 36671 on or prior to the hour and date first mentioned above, and must be sealed.
Specifications are on file and may be seen at the City of Chickasaw City Hall, 224 N. Craft Highway, Chickasaw, AL 36671. Specifications may be obtained from the office of Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., at 11 North Water Street, RSA Battle House Tower, Suite 9290, Mobile, AL 36602 by depositing fifty ($50.00) dollars for each set. No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly licensed and qualified to submit a proposal for this construction in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of Alabama. This shall include evidence of holding a current license from the State Licensing City for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, as required by Chapter 8 of Title 34, of the Code of Alabama, 1975. In addition, non-residents of the State, if a corporation, shall show evidence of having qualified with the Secretary of State to do business in the State of Alabama.
Prior to the award of a competitively bid contract to a contractor having one or more employees in the State of Alabama, Alabama law requires that the contractor provide the City proof of enrollment in E-Verify (see www.uscis.gov/everify) and to execute a certificate of compliance with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer And Citizen Protection Act (Act 2011-535), as amended by Act 2012-491. Regardless of employment in the State of Alabama, proof of enrollment in E-Verify shall be provided.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the City of Chickasaw.

Jordan Henson and Fictitious Defendants A, B, C, D, and E, being those persons or entities occupying, possessing, or claiming any right whatsoever in that certain real property located at 11256 Old Highway 43, Axis, AL 36505, whose whereabouts and/or identities are unknown and who cannot be ascertained after the exercise of reasonable diligence.
The Defendants and any person having any interest in said lands, or any portion thereof, are hereby directed to plead, answer, demur, or otherwise respond to the Complaint within thirty days after the final publication of this notice, or suffer judgment by default to be rendered against them, it being intended that this notice shall be used to perfect service against all parties who cannot be personally served with a copy of the Complaint.
